Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox born December 25, 1954, Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox was a flute, piano and harpsichord at the Royal Academy of Music London for three years during the 70s. She survived on a student stipend and did part-time jobs in order to make ends meet. Lennox felt that her skills weren't as good as those of those of her Royal Academy classmates. So she thought about alternative options she could pursue. Lennox began her career in 1976 as a member of the group called Dragons Playground. However she left before the band went on I.T.V.s talent contest New Faces. From 1977 until 1980, she was the singer-songwriter for The Tourists, a British pop group. Here she met Dave Stewart who would later create Eurythmics. Lennox started working on Diva in 1992. This was her debut album as a solo artist. The album was hugely successful both commercially as well as critically. Nostalgia Lennox's 6th solo album came out in November of 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her favourite blues and soul songs. Lepidoptera was recorded by Lennox on May 19, 2019. The album is comprised of four songs improvised. The E.P. Her first album, Now I'm Letting You go... It is an accompaniment to her installation of artwork in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Annie Lennox born December 25 1954 is an Scottish politician, philanthropist and singer-songwriter. The Tourists were a new-wave group who had some success in the late 1970s. Later, Lennox became a part of the band with the band with fellow artist Dave Stewart to form the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox's debut album in 1992 Diva featured a number of hit tracks, such as Why as well as Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa, a 1995 studio album features cover versions of popular songs such as No More I Love Yous andA Whiter Shade of Pale. Her solo albums include six album compilations and studio albums.
