Her achievements when she was a teenager in America (which we refer to as Maureen O'Hara today) would be a sure signification for her to the child-prodigy category. For a child with Irish heritage, and surrounded as she was by gifted parents, and her family did this naturally. Maureen was born in this cosy refuge on the 17th of August 1920. Her family was her parents as well as family members. Marguerita LIlburn FitzSimons, the mother of her. She was a skilled contralto. Charles FitzSimons was a successful businessman from Dublin who also owned a piece of the Irish Shamrock Rovers soccer team. Maureen was the third of six FitzSimons children. Peggy, Florrie, Charles B. Fitzsimons, Margot Fitzsimons and James O'Hara completed this beautiful family. Maureen enjoyed playing sporting games in her youth and excelled at sports. Furthermore she was gifted for acting. As a result, she received almost all of the Feis Awards for dramatic and acting in her home country. When she turned 14, she was accepted to the prestigious Abbey Theater and pursued her dream of classical theater along with operatic music.
